Club Net

Due to several members not being available on Tuesday nights or they outside the Stafford area, our Club net has changed to every Monday at 20:00 local time on the GB3ZI UHF repeater in Stafford.  For more information on how to access this repeater, please see the Stafford Repeater Group website or the GB3ZI page on for more details.

Thanks for visiting the home of the Stafford and Districts Amateur Radio Society.

We are group of amateur radio enthusiasts that are from the Staffordshire area.  We hold a club meeting every week in Stafford where we get together to discuss our hoby, operate our club station and even work on our club projects.

During spring and summer, you can often find us operating from Cannock Chase using our club call sign GX3SBL.  Other activities include operating from other portable locations such as Buxton in Derbyshire and Tackeroo where we operate a portable station all weekend.

During the winter, we use this time to work on our own or club projects such as our recent field strength meter project and our capacitance meter project that has recently been completed.  Other winter activities include talks and demonstrations from members and visitors.

If you are interested in joining us, feel free to get in touch with our membership secretary for more information on how to join.
